The author openly shares her personal experiences associated with the damaging effects of labeling and the stigma associated with receiving a mental health diagnosis, divorce, and the loss of a child. And throughout her story, we are able to feel her struggle to find a closer relationship with God.
The more we focus on our accomplishments and successes in life, the less room we will have for self-defeating thoughts.
